Her abstracts embody a loose practice to achieve lively movement and spontaneity. But, her Realism works are carefully developed with dozens of layers of glazing to create rich depth of color. They are designed to be reminiscent of the Dutch floral painters of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, yet, with a modern edge.
